HSNO compliance
  • Approved Handler training and certification - on-site or by correspondence for a 5 year certificate. Training by an ERMA-approved Test Certifier.

Over 300 companies and in excess of 1000 people have been trained and certificated by TSG Ltd in Dangerous Goods, Urban Pest Control products and Agrichemicals.

  • Half-day HSNO Awareness Seminars

We conduct a half-day seminar delivered on your site or at a convenient meeting location tailored to suit your chemicals and the level of knowledge you need.

The content is based on our ready-reference "Hitchhikers Guide to HSNO" booklet.

Peter Rose of Telarc NZ Ltd says "In one half day seminar our staff in Auckland, Hamilton and Wellington had the complexities of the HSNO Regulations explained and clarified in a down-to-earth way. They can now incorporate this information in their ISO audits".

  • The Hitchhikers Guide to HSNO

An A5 booklet of 105 pages covering all of the essential 'need to know' facts about the HSNO Act, Regulations, trigger quantities, the Regulation matrix and Group standards

  • HSNO Site Signage

The Identification Regulations 2001 and Emergency Management Regulations 2001 require that sites holding certain classes of hazardous goods over certain quantities require signage to alert emergency services and visitors to the site what hazards are present and where.

We provide both entrance-way signs and internal site signs designed to the NZCIC Code of Practice at very competitive prices.

  • Emergency Response Plans

Do your chemical quantites trigger the need for this ?

If so we have a simple ERP in Word on CD. It makes good Risk management sense anyway

  • Safety Data Sheet Design

Comprehensive Safety Data Sheets are now mandatory as a way of conveying the hazards associated with the storage and use of chemicals.

Do you need to update your MSDS's to the accepted Code of Practice format including HSNO classifications and Group Standards ? ? we can do it for you !

  • Group Standard Substances

Do you have products or mixtures that you notified to ERMA back in 2001 ?

Do you import or manufacture new substances ?

If you answer 'Yes' to either of these you will need to attribute them to one of the Group Standard types and then into its hazard type. And you have to have a written record for your reason to attribute them to that particular Group and this record must be available for inspection if required.

This can be a taxing process unless there is a good understanding of the chemistry and properties of the substances.

We can do this for you ! Talk to us about a discount rate.
